Recently, Innovision Technology successfully lit up the world's first XGA vertical-stacked full-color Micro-LED micro-display chip. This chip integrates RGB tri-colors and a CMOS driving backplane using the WLVSP™ (Wafer-Level Vertical Stacked Pixels, hereinafter referred to as VSP) technology solution, marking a significant breakthrough in Innovision Technology's core technology for Micro-LED full-color micro-display single chips.

The lighting of this chip utilizes Innovision Technology's independently developed innovative VSP technology. This technology integrates the integrated circuit process with LEDs through vertical stacking of multiple light-emitting units. It combines the advantages of large-size epitaxy, homogeneous integration, and extremely small pixel sizes to achieve breakthroughs in cost, yield, and performance. This approach is poised to become the optimal technological solution for the commercialization of Micro-LED micro-display chips.
Advanced technology and leading manufacturing processes accelerate Innovision Technology's commercialization progress. In September 2023, Innovision Technology successfully established the VSP process flow, achieving vertical integration of the AlGaInP and GaN material systems. In March 2024, Innovision Technology successfully lit up a single-chip full-color vertical-stacked micro-display chip with active driving, marking another significant breakthrough following its previous achievement of lighting up the world's smallest 0.12-inch monochrome micro-display chip. In the next phase, Innovision Technology will continue to focus on advancing the performance optimization of single-chip full-color Micro-LED micro-display chips to achieve large-scale production at the fastest possible pace.
